Monumental Minds Youth Therapy Group Policies

We are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and productive environment for all participants. Please review the following policies carefully:

Attendance and Participation:

  • Commitment: Participants are expected to attend all weekly sessions. Regular attendance is essential for group cohesion and personal growth.

  • Absences: If your child will miss a session, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Unexcused absences may impact continued enrollment.

  • Punctuality: Sessions start promptly. Late arrivals may disrupt the group and miss key activities.

Confidentiality:

  • Group Privacy: To ensure a safe space, all information shared during sessions is confidential and must not be shared outside the group.

  • Mandatory Reporting: As mandated by law, we must report any disclosures of abuse, harm to self, or harm to others to appropriate authorities.

Behavior Expectations:

  • Respectful Conduct: Participants must show respect to peers, facilitators, and guest speakers. Bullying, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

  • Engagement: Active participation is encouraged but not required. Youth may choose to pass on sharing during discussions if they feel uncomfortable.

Health and Safety:

  • Medical Needs: Parents/guardians must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or mental health needs that may require accommodation.

  • Illness: If your child is unwell, we ask that they stay home to prioritize their health and the health of others.

Fees and Payments:

  • Payment Schedule: Weekly payments of $60 are due at the start of each week unless the full $720 for the 12-week program has been paid upfront.

  • Refunds: Refunds are not available once the program has started. Exceptions may be made for extenuating circumstances.

  • Scholarships: Families receiving scholarships must adhere to attendance and participation policies. Noncompliance may result in losing scholarship support.

Media Release:

  • Photos and Videos: With consent, we may take photos or videos during sessions to document activities and promote the program. No identifying information will be shared without explicit permission.

Program Communication:

  • Parent Updates: Regular updates about the program and your child’s participation will be shared via email or phone.

  • Emergency Contact: Please ensure we have an accurate emergency contact on file.

Termination of Enrollment:

  • Monumental Minds reserves the right to terminate a participant’s enrollment if policies are repeatedly violated or if their behavior poses a risk to themselves or others. Parents/guardians will be notified and consulted before any final decision.

By enrolling in Monumental Minds, you agree to abide by these policies and support the program’s mission to create a positive, empowering experience for all participants.
